KUALA LUMPUR Nov 2 - National Unity and Social Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr Siti Zaharah Sulaiman Sunday said her ministry would launch the "Saya Anak Malaysia" campaign in February next year.
She hoped her ministry would receive the support of all teachers including private school teachers in ensuring the success of the campaign.
Siti Zaharah said this when opening a concert put up by kindergarten children of the "Star Children House" here.
Some 600 children aged between two and five from different branches of the Star Children House kindergarten took part in the concert.
Speaking at the function, she said the campaign would involve the holding of activities to promote unity among the children, she added.
The campaign would also involve the signing of pledges by all school children including kindergarten children.
The pledges would be sent to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, she added.
She said the key to Malaysia's glory depended on a strong bond of unity among the people.
