  How to Use Google Maps

Here is a fast way to find the location map of an address (your friend's house address or business office, etc.) I always use it to locate the address of the hotel where I am staying when I travel to help me plan my programme.
Type the full address (street number and name, city, country) in the box below. The box might be small but don't worry, you can type up to 255 characters. You can leave out the commas in the address and put all in small letters.
Example: 8 oxford street london england
Then click on "GO" (or hit the Enter key). You will get a map of its situation. Test it out by typing in your home address.

But that's not all. In the new page that opens type your house or hotel address in box B, then click on one of the three symbols above it (according to whether you're going there by car, public transport or by walking). You will be shown the shortest way to go there (see map below for an example).
